Tips & Advice:
Chapter 1 - Prepare the ground
Clear the area of weeds and gently loosen the soil. Shady areas can hold more moisture and the soil can be more compacted. Like any good story, a strong foundation sets the scene.
Chapter 2 - Sow the Seeds
Shake the box before sowing. Scatter the seeds evenly, like words on a page. Press them lightly into the soil, no need to bury them deep.
Chapter 3 - Water and Wait
Keep the soil moist, especially in the early weeks. It can take a bit longer for seeds to germinate in spots where warmth and sunshine are limited. Soon the characters will arrive: bees, butterflies and blooms, to bring your wildflower story to life.
General Advice
After sowing, keep soil moist until seedlings appear, and then water as required depending on the weather. For an earlier and better show, plant in the autumn for flowering the following spring. Results can vary depending on growing conditions. Store in original packaging in a cool, dry place and use within season of purchase. Harmful if eaten.
