Sowing Indoors

Level fill a tray with Westland Seed & Cutting Compost firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Scatter seeds thinly but do not cover with compost. Place in a propagator at 20-25°C or cover tray with cling film and leave in a warm room.

Growing On

When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When the seedling has at least 4 leaves, transplant 5cm apart to trays of Westland Houseplant Potting Mix or singly into small pots. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 12°C.

Advice

These seeds need light to germinate, do not cover with compost when sowing.
