Unwins Houseplant Succulent Mix (Sempervivum) Seeds are part of the NEW Unwins indoor plant seeds range. The succulent mix produces a beautiful mix of succulent rosettes that are easy to grow and maintain.
Tough, drought-tolerant, and easy to grow in full sun and poor soil, these low growing rosettes add bold texture and colour.

Sowing Indoors
Level fill a tray with Westland Seed and Cutting Compost firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Scatter seeds thinly covering with vermiculite. Place the tray in the fridge for 1 week then place in a propagator at 20-25°C or cover tray with cling film and leave in a warm room.
Growing On
When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position. When the seedling has at least 4 leaves,transplant 5cm apart to trays of Westland Cacti Succulent & Terrarium Potting Mix or singly into small pots. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 12°C.
Advice
Sempervivums are drought-tolerant and thrive in well-drained soil. Avoid overwatering, as sitting in water can lead to rot. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
