Sowing Indoors
Sow seeds individually in module trays and cover with a very thin layer of compost. Place in warmth, 10-15°C and keep moist. Keep seedlings in a bright position but shade from bright sun.
Planting Out
When plants are 10cm, gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out from April. Allow 30cm between plants in the ground. Spacing can be closer in baskets and other containers.
Advice
Strawberry seeds can take some time to germinate and a few weeks Is not uncommon. Take care not to over water during the germination stages. For best results, sow all of the seeds at the same time and plant as a group.
