Unwins Salad Leaf Oriental Mix Seeds produce a delightful combination of crisp and crunchy salad leaves. Sow indoors or outdoors between the months of March and August and harvest between May and September.
Including a mix of mizuna, mibuna, red & green leaf mustard, pak choi and tatsoi. These flavourful leaves make excellent salads or they can provide a burst of flavour and texture inside chunky sandwiches.

Tips & Advice:
Sowing Indoors
Sow thinly 1cm deep in clean trays or modules of firm, pre-watered compost. Place in warmth, 10-15°C and keep moist at all times.
Planting Out
After the risk of frost has passed and when large enough to handle, plant into the required harvest position 10cm apart with 30cm between each row.
Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly 1cm deep directly in the harvest location. Keep soil moist at all times. Thin as necessary to about 10cm apart.
Advice
Keep well watered. Small sowings made every 3 weeks will ensure a continuous supply. Use netting to help prevent damage from birds and insects.
