Sowing Indoors
Level fill a module seed tray firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds thinly and cover with a thin layer of fine compost or vermiculite. Leave in a warm room, around 18-20°C and keep moist.
Growing On
When shoots appear, remove cling film or ventilate the propagator. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. Grow on in a minimum temperature of 10°C.
Hardening Off / Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when the danger of frost has passed. Allow 30cm between plants. Water well until established.
Advice
For best effect, plant in groups of 3 or 5.
