Unwins Meadow Rue Lavender Mist Seeds deliver sprays of lavender-pink flowers with blue-green, fern-like foliage. This is an upright, clump-forming perennial composed of many leaves.
Ideal in a cottage garden or informal style plantings, and also good for cut flower arrangements. Lavender is a natural insect repellent, especially for ants, so can be very useful for gardeners looking to repel ants from their garden!

Tips & Advice:
Sowing Indoors
Sow in trays of pre-watered seed compost and cover lightly. Keep at around 20°C and allow 3-4 weeks for germination.
Growing On
Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When large enough to handle, transplant individually to 8cm pots of potting compost.
Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outside conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when danger of frost has passed. Allow 60cm between plants.
Aftercare
Cut down stems after flowering. Clumps can be divided every 2-3 years.
