When to sow
March - May
Where to sow
Straight into the soil in May, about 5cm deep. Soak the soil with water as soon as you have sown the seeds. Seedlings should appear about two weeks later. You can also sow the seeds 1cm deep in little pots of seed compost from March onwards. Plant them out in the garden 90cm apart when they are a few centimetres high.
Remember
Keep them watered especially in very warm weather.
