Unwins Heuchera Coral Forest Seeds produce neat clusters of marbled green foliage with sprays of small scarlet flowers. It's a wonderful evergreen perennial.

Heucheras are low-maintenance plants and their attractive, patterned foliage makes excellent ground cover.

Tips & Advice:

Sowing Indoors

Sow on the surface of pre-watered seed compost, in pots or trays, lightly pressing into the surface. Place in a propagator or bag at around 20°C in shade and allow 2-6 weeks for germination. Remove lid or bag and keep in cooler, brighter conditions after germination.

Growing On

Transplant when seedlings are large enough to handle. Grow on in a sheltered spot outdoors, such as a cold frame or unheated greenhouse.

Planting Out

Plant out in full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil and water in well.

Aftercare

Deadhead to prolong the flowering period. This may produce a second flush later in summer. Clumps may be divided in autumn every 3 years.
