Sowing Outdoors
Sow in short, shallow, pre-watered rows in a seed bed. Lightly cover with a little soil, and keep soil moist until seedlings emerge. Thin them out to 2cm apart when large enough to handle, before transplanting to their permanent positions in the autumn, 20cm apart.
