Sowing Indoors
Sow in individual pots of pre-watered seed compost, cover with a thin layer of vermiculite and allow 2-3 weeks to germinate at around 20°C. Once germinated, grow on at a slightly cooler temperature.
Growing on
Pot on carefully into a larger pot (about 20cm) when the seedlings have around 4 true leaves and keep in a bright position.
Planting Out
Plant into the final position once in early to mid-summer, in full sun and well-drained soil, where it will be hardy once established.
Advice
May also be direct sown in late summer or early autumn.
