Sowing Indoors
Sow thinly 1cm deep in clean trays or modules of firm, pre-watered compost. Place in warmth, 10-15°C and keep moist at all times.
Planting Out
After the risk of frost has passed, plant into the required harvest position 25cm apart with 30cm between each row when plants have 3-4 true leaves.
Sowing Outdoors
Sow thinly 1cm deep in direct harvest location. Keep soil moist at all times. Thin to 25cm apart.
Advice
Keep well watered. Small sowings made every 3 weeks will ensure a continuous supply. Use netting to help prevent damage from birds and insects. In extremes of cold, Winter Density will require fleece or cloche protection from frost and snow.
