Unwins Cherry Tomato Golden Pearl F1 Seeds are a fantastic yellow variety producing high numbers of sweet and juicy fruits. They are ideal eaten straight from the truss or sliced in a colourful salad.
This outdoor semi-trailing type is great in baskets or window boxes. A heavy-cropping variety with yellow, slightly acidic, sweet fruits that are vitamin-rich. Golden Pearl F1 also has good disease resistance.

Sowing Indoors
Level fill a module tray with seed compost firming with the base of another tray. Water well with a fine rose. Sow seeds individually and lightly cover with vermiculite. Place in a propagator at 18-20°C or cover tray with cling film and leave in a warm room. Keep moist.
Growing On
When shoots appear, remove cling film. Keep seedlings in a light position, but shade from direct sunlight. When plants have 4 leaves transplant to 8cm pots of potting compost. Grow coolly and steadily at a minimum temperature of 15°C.
Planting Out
Gradually accustom plants to outdoor conditions for 2-3 weeks before planting out when temperatures exceed 10°C. Transfer to large pots or hanging baskets (minimum 30cm) either in a greenhouse or in a sunny, sheltered spot outside.
Support
Trailing varieties are best grown without support and do not need side shoots removing.
Advice
Tomatoes are thirsty and hungry plants. Feed and water regularly and remember to ventilate your greenhouse on warm days.
